prayer of the broken mother
i whispered your worth in the dark places i carried your bones in the sky far below the place where God sits and the souls of children weave star lilies in the wild after. the soft touch of fingers ghost over your eyes while you sleep and this lullaby pours from my lips a song i have sung before to different ears than yours a spell of my own making self-taught wisdom and the memory of sweeter hands lifting me from the deep this prayer is born in a place of silence and scars. oh Father, forgive me for I know the darkness well let me walk through the valley of shadows but bring this little one beneath my lullaby close against your heart.

Pigverse Presents: The Jade Spider (Part 4)
It was a stormy morning in La Ensenada, and Tripti was roused from her sleep by a rumble of nearby thunder. The first thing she picked up on was the pounding of rain on her windows, the second thing was that she was alone in bed for the first time in a few days, and the third and most important was that she smelled waffles in the kitchen. Fly-Girl: Episode 17 “Who Needs Friends When You Have Frump?” The drop of the puck triggered chaos on ice. Artie Nedland put his plans into action and the game seemed to be going in their favor much to the delight of the Hellions’ supporters. The other Hellions fell into place, not giving it a second thought but too focused to notice that the normally cool and collected Artie was glaring daggers at one of his teammates. “Come on, you wimps! You can do better than that!” Edward Frump used his girth to check several players, giving Artie’s defenses ample time to protect the puck. Like Artie, the other players paid no mind to the victorious sneer the long-haired teenager sported. The only one who noticed was Artie himself who barely managed to keep his head straight despite all urges to just wipe the ice with Frump’s face. “Grinder? Nah. I’d rather grind the ice with your teeth,” he softly murmured with anger. The bleachers
