Fate: The Book of Humiliation Target Gilgamesh
Shirou wasn’t much of a scholar when it came to magic. He didn’t tend to study but when he went to clean up the shed where he originally summoned his Saber, he found a really old book with mysterious writing that Shirou didn’t really understand. His first instinct was to put the book back down in the box that he found it in but something was compelling him to keep hold of said book. Instead of putting the book away, he carried it back into his room where he thoroughly explored it. It still didn’t make much sense to him but he didn’t want to put it down. For some reason he carried the book everywhere. A few days after finding the book, he was walking down the street clearly lost in thought when he ran into someone he rather not have seen at all. It almost seemed like he hit solid muscle and fell to the ground, knocking the book across the ground. “Watch where you are going, mongrel,” the cocky voice of Gilgamesh reached down to the distracted redhead. The Fly-Girl - Episode 12
Fly-Girl: Episode 12 “Mano a Mano. Mutant a Mutant.” Anna Dahlman had it all growing up. She had a loving family, friends, and was the smartest in her class with every college in the area fighting to get her enrolled. Life was going to be swell for the optimistic young woman. Then it started. She started feeling weak over the course of a few months. Several doctor visits later revealed one of life’s cruel jokes. The young and optimistic Anna Dahlman died the moment she learned she had terminal cancer. All at the age of sixteen, before her life could even start. The doctors gave her a few years, maybe sooner. In the passing months, Anna’s poor parents watched their once happy daughter devolve into a cruel and vicious human being as her body wasted away, her sprit gone. They tried everything to ease the inevitable but one day, Anna was gone, never to be seen again.

Poem no.1217. Something I wrote off the top of my head. Inspired by two strikingly different sources. First is as a kid I used to listen to my Mum's 70s music and one of the songs I liked was "Meet Me On The Corner" by a band called Lindisfarne. Secondly, I recalled vaguely W.B. Yeats poem, "The Isle of Innisfree". Taking all that into account I based my poem on a theme of retirement and escape from the weariness of age.

Interesting how you combined Lindisfarne, which is mainly symbolic for Christianity, with the pagan concept of a Tír na nÓg kind of isle. Beautiful poem!
