A poem I whipped together in about 15 minutes. I'll leave it up to the reader to cast their own perspective on this. Quite tired, since it's half 5 in the morning at the moment and my brain is like mulch. So yeah brain-dead too.
I have no idea why I conjured it from, but I had the image of Lewis Carroll's fictional character from his "Alice Adventures In Wonderland" classic fading away leaving only a smile in mid-air. Sort of got me thinking about what we take for granted slowly disappears before our eyes until only a smile remains and then nothing is left but the air.
