The Angel's Lament
The bell tolls its haunting ring,
A tune to which the angels sing.
Their promise of exquisite things
Falls deaf on those without their wings.

Write Me
counting the dust in the sunlight;
and dew drops on fallen leaves,
embrace the mist from waterfalls;
come name the stars with me.
forge your worries on sea shells;
go toss them near and far,
close the times of misses;
and dream for dreams that are.

A Fake Love
Hey, wait…
Please don’t go away…
I thought this is what they called fate
I thought that every day
Was supposed to be for
You and me…
I thought that this “love”
That was made so clear in my heart
Was always above
Every day we spent apart
Even though I seemed
To be falling apart
Deep inside, I knew
That all these things inside
I couldn’t hide from you
So now I reside
With the cold and hard
Truth
This wasn’t meant to be
This “love” between us
Wasn’t meant for you and me
So you can take your finesse
And leave me all alone
With nothing but your memory

Rigor Mortis is a Latin phrase, literally translated as Rigor "Stiffness" and Mortis"Of Death".
This is a Gothic Romance poem I wrote in about 15 minutes without stopping, just a pure stream of conscious thought. It's basically about this man, who finds his lover has just died, and in a fit of ecstatic grief has a series of hallucinations that she returns to him to relive the days he thought were lost.
I found this to be quite raw and powerful, especially in regards to the man's love, loyalty and commitment to his lover. No matter what anyone says I'm very proud of this work.

Death is inevitable but the effects vary from person to person depending who has died and how they were known, death of a loved one can break you in many different ways and grief is painful in so many different levels. So this seems very raw in emotion and rather accurate in it's response to the death, which is always tricky to get right fully but you've made it work so very realistically...well done.
